Goldberg On Japan

Japan Customized Travel Design

Our Services

Goldberg on Japan's itinerary crafting and consulting includes specialized multilingual guides; luxury and traditional accommodations; hands-on and behind-the-scenes experiences at temples, private workshops, and individual homes; land adventures and water activities - biking, hiking, kayaking, historic river-and-lake-boat rides; and intimate ceremonies, like the Goma Fire Ritual at Mt. Takao, Narita-san Temple, and elsewhere.

Goldberg on Japan paves the way for exclusive encounters with noted artisans and sensei - tea and ikebana (flower) masters; papermakers; ceramic, bamboo, textile, and lacquerware craftspeople; chefs and sweet-makers; sake brewers and whisky distillers, maiko and geisha (geiko in Kyoto), and so much more.

We secure tickets to museums and exhibitions, traditional and modern performances, ephemeral festivals, theme parks (including VIP entries), baseball games, sumo wrestling matches and training sessions, etc.

We also make restaurant recommendations and reservations, schedule and book transportation, and arrange greeters to meet you at the airport or on your train platform and smoothly transfer you to your hotel or from one train to another at major station hubs.

We arrange the All-Japan Rail Pass, regional JR Passes, and even passes for other train lines that many travel planners haven't even heard of.
